2026 Office Update

Please read the following letter from Drs. Moody and Heim regarding an important office update as of January 2026.

Dear Valued Patient Families,
We wish to share an important update about our office as we enter into the New Year.

Beginning in early 2026, after a rewarding career of more than 32 years serving as a highly regarded pediatric dentist in Oklahoma City, Dr. Moody will be stepping down into a lesser role within the practice. Dr. Moody intends to focus more of his time on his family, as well as toward his faculty role at the OU Pediatric Dentistry Residency. While this is an exciting new chapter, please know that Dr. Moody’s commitment to his patients and the practice remains very important.

Consequently, we are also pleased to announce that Dr. Somer Heim will be taking over primary clinical responsibilities and leadership of the practice. Many of you already know Dr. Heim and the compassionate, high-quality care she provides, as she has been part of the practice and worked alongside Dr. Moody since 2013. Dr. Heim not only brings exceptional skill, but also a deep commitment to our patients and community. This transition has been thoughtfully planned to ensure continuity, comfort, and the same level of service you have come to trust in our practice.

Rest assured that Dr. Moody will remain actively involved during this transition. He will continue to see patients moving forward, but his schedule will be more limited. For those of you who have not yet met Dr. Heim, we are confident you will find she, too, will provide excellent care to your family. Please know our entire team is here to support you and your children, and we look forward to seeing your family for many years to come.
